Treatments That Replace Surgery

There are now affordable treatments available which have replaced expensive cosmetic surgery procedures.

Before and After PlasmaPen

Surgical Facelifts replaced by PlasmaPen

Traditionally, a facelift entails invasive cosmetic surgery that works to lift and pull back the skin of the face to make it tighter and smoother. The procedure involves cutting the skin away from the face and pulling it back. Those of us who want to reduce the appearance of sagging skin around the lower half of the face and neck may choose to go under the knife to achieve the desired look. But thanks to PlasmaPen nitrogen plasma devices, a non-surgical and non-invasive facelift is delivered with innovative fibroblasting technology. This technique lifts and tightens the skin in a way that delivers very similar results to a traditional facelift but without the need for downtime - and without the hefty price tag.

Surgical facelift average cost = £3k - £10k
PlasmaPen average cost = approx. £400 - £600

Before and After Skin Boosters

Botox & Fillers replaced by Skin Boosters

With the help of new Skin Boosting treatments we can improve the skin without the use of Botox and filler. So if you have been thinking about improving your skin with a more natural looking result, this could be for you. These treatments are commonly called ‘injectable moisture’ and some of the names (brands) you may have heard of are Volite from Juvéderm, Profhilo® and Teoxane Redensity. Here at Sue Atkinson Clinic in Sheffield, we choose from a variety of reputable brands, per treatment, as each are more suitable for different skin types and requirements.

Botox & Filler combo average cost = £500 +
Skin Booster average cost = approx. £160 - £320

Before and After PlasmaPen

Surgical Eyelifts replaced by PlasmaPen

Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. The aim is to improve hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags. The NHS says “In the UK, blepharoplasty may cost anywhere between £2,000 and £6,000”. However, PlasmaPen is a non-surgical eye lift and can be used to reduce heavy brows (upper eyelids), saggy skin under the eyes (lower eyelid) acting as a non-surgical blepharoplasty and can treat under eye wrinkles and reduce crows feet.

Surgical Eyelift average cost = £2k - £6k
PlasmaPen average cost = approx. £400 - £600

Surgical Brow / Forehead Lift replaced by Environ Frown Treatment

A brow lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure to reposition your forehead, reduce wrinkles and make you look more youthful. A more permanent solution is to surgically "disrupt" (cut and resect) the corrugator muscle (Corrugator Muscle Lysis / Frown Lines Removal). Any surgical treatment in this area carries risks and the results cannot be guaranteed. However, with Environ’s AMAZING scientific skincare technology, the highly effective Frown Treatment uses a special penta-peptide serum to target frown lines and achieve dramatic results. The unique combination of active ingredients is driven deep into the skin to soften line and reduce muscle tension in the forehead helping to prevent new lines forming. The treatment targets the same chemical complexes as injectables without the associated risks. You may need a few sessions to match the effects of surgery, but the outlay is still a lot less.

Surgical Brow / Forehead Lift average cost = £5k +
Environ Frown Treatment cost per session = £90

“This is just the tip of the iceberg of what we can achieve - a free consultation is the chance for you to see what you can do.

Hope to see you soon!”
